Al Sayyid Talal bin Badar bin Saud Al Busaidi, Chairman
Sayyid Talal is representing his family interests in the school as Chairman of the Board. He is the CEO and Deputy Chairman of Assaud National LLC and also serves as the Deputy CEO and Deputy Chairman of Merit International.
Khalid Said Abdullah Al Qassabi, Director
Khalid is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology and is a seasoned professional with a rich experience of over 18 years and is currently the Personnel Director with an organization which is a division of one of the leading family offices in Oman.
Abdulhameed Abdullah Al Hamdani, Director
Abdulhameed is a Mechanical Engineer from Sultan Qaboos University in Oman and has had over 20 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector. He has worked with Dowell Schlumberger, Oman and has been a director in various companies. He is the co-founder of Integrated Petroleum Services Company LLC and Benon Oil Services LLC in Oman.
Suresh Kumar Virmani, Director
Suresh is an engineer and is credited with having started Bahwan Engineering Company (BEC) in 1977 which became one of the leading companies in Oman. He has served on the Industrial Advisory Boards of Purdue University, USA; Sultan Qaboos University, Oman; and on the Board of Governors of Caledonian College of Engineering and the Oman Dental College.
Mahesh Verma, Managing Director and President, SMC
Mahesh is the Managing Director of Paradise Sprig Investment Management Co. (Owner of Paradise Valley Private School) and President of the School Management Committee (SMC). He is an MBA from a leading institute in India and has been in Oman since 1985. He worked with Banque Indo Suez, Bank Muscat and Merrill Lynch International Bank for over 25 years before starting his own consultancy firm. He served on the board of several institutions including The American International School of Muscat (TAISM), where he was the U.S Ambassador’s representative as Chairman, Finance Committee. Arun Kapur, Advisor to the Board
An educator par excellence, Arun leads Pallavan Learning Systems where he guides the development and implementation of leading- edge learning technologies and methods that enrich school education through the promotion of professional standards, while focussing on the professional development of teachers. He has been a member of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and the Central Advisory Board of Education in India and has served on the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). He is on the Board of Directors of the Doon School, Scindia School and is the Director of Vasant Valley School, New Delhi as well as of the Royal Academy, Bhutan. He has authored two acclaimed books: Transforming Schools — Empowering Children and Leading Out — The True Purpose of Education. He is a member of HundrEd Academy, Finland that recognized the Five Areas of Development as one of the 100 most inspiring educational innovations in 2017 and 2018. He is also a member of East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).
