The closure of schools since March 2020 has required us all to re-think and re-engineer approaches to ensure the continuation of our programmes to successfully facilitate learning. As learners of all ages stay at home to minimize health risks, learning has to be facilitated through online classes. This not only requires the use of technology at an unprecedented scale, it also requires a re-imagination of the ways of delivering the learning material suitable for the online mode.
All of these challenges have impacted the newly-established Paradise Valley Private School in Muscat, which opened its doors to students only in September 2019. It is the first IB-candidate (PYP) Inclusive School in the entire region and the team made extraordinary efforts to facilitate a smooth transition of its teaching-learning experience into 'virtual' classrooms.
Pallavan Learning Systems, as the academic partner of Paradise Valley Private School, has continued to fully support the school’s team, to work through these challenging times to ensure seamless online education thereby bringing a successful conclusion to the first academic year of the School.
